Checklist for getting started with Inxmail New Xperience
This checklist shows you the most important points that you should clarify and consider before going live with Inxmail New Xperience and before sending your first mailing. Detailed descriptions can be found in the linked articles. Also check out our intro videos for getting started.

Create users based on default roles or custom roles.

Create a styleset based on your corporate design specifications (e.g. color and font specifications)

Create custom containers if the Inxmail containers are not enough for you

Drop all important media into your media folders
e.g. logos or other corporate design images
You need to switch to Inxmail Professional to manage your technical dispatch settings and recipients.

Brand Identity Protection: Create a subdomain and configure the technical settings for best deliverability.

Tracking Permission: Define your tracking mechanism (relevant for dispatch analysis and for using recipient reactions ).
What tracking options do I have?In Inxmail Professional there are different link types and tracking mechanisms. Use no-count links if you don 't want to track the clicks on a link. Person-based tracking is called unique-count tracking, and anonymous tracking is called count tracking.

With unique count tracking, you can assign clicks and openings directly to your recipients. With count tracking, behavior is tracked anonymously. It is not possible to draw conclusions about individual recipients when using count tracking.

Use the Inxmail template: We recommend that you use the Inxmail template for a quick start in XNEW.

Have you synchronized your mailing with a XPRO list?

Have you customized the mailing name?
You can do this for existing mailings by double-clicking on the mailing name in the edit view.

Have you adjusted subject line and pre-header?
This can be done via Mailing Settings for existing mailings.

Did you insert an unsubscription link?

Did you insert a link to web view?

Are your texts free of errors?

Did you personalize your texts and images? You can use modules, attributes and target groups to customize your mailings for different recipients.

Did you also customize the mobile header?
Customize it by adjusting the mobile alternative image

Are your header image and mobile header linked correctly?

Are the links in your texts, on buttons and on images correct?

Have you enabled tracking for your links?

Are your web tracking parameters for Google Analytics etc. correct?

Have you applied the right size to your images?
Depending on the dimensions of your container, you might need to re-calculate the values from our Smart Guide.

Have you added alt attributes to your images?

Do your images match your texts?
-
Do your button descriptions match the landing pages?

How does your mailing look like on mobile display?
Check mobile images, spacing and wrapping.

Have you sent yourself a test email?

Have you performed a display test?

Have you performed a quality test via XPRO?

Optional: Save your mailing as a template for future mailings.
