-
Create mailing using the Advanced Template - or as a HTML or multipart mailing.
We recommend that you create a mailing as a "template": Create the template mailing like a normal mailing and give it a descriptive name. Create future mailings as a copy of the template
-
Optional: Insert tracking permission withdrawal link.
-
Optional: If you use person-based tracking, you must include a tracking permission withdrawal link in your mailing.
-
Define tracking mechanism (relevant for dispatch analysis and use of recipient reactions).
In Inxmail Professional there are different link types and tracking mechanisms. Use no-count links if you don 't want to track the clicks on a link. Person-based tracking is called unique-count tracking, and anonymous tracking is called count tracking.
ยง GDPR
With unique count tracking, you can assign clicks and openings directly to your recipients (anonymized or person-based, depending on the tracking permission). With count tracking, behavior is tracked anonymously. It is not possible to draw conclusions about individual recipients when using count tracking.Note mailing size: We recommend that you keep your mailing size below 102 KB. This will help you avoid display problems with Gmail, as the Gmail email client will clip larger emails in your recipient's inbox.
If your average mailing size exceeds 150 KB per mail within a month, you will be charged for additional traffic for every 150 KB (see price list). A mailing including attachments must not exceed 6 MB in size so that it can still be sent.
-
Optional: Create target groups and test profiles
-
Optional: Set up data sources for external content (e.g. recommendations)
External content is integrated into your mailing from third-party systems (e.g. CMS, eShop) via interfaces and transformations, e.g. for recommendations, product information from the store or Next Best Offers.
-
Optional: Add web tracking parameters(e.g. Google Analytics or Econda)
-
Optional: Set up a trigger process (automatic dispatch)
-
Optional: Specify mailing approval process
-
Optional: Configure modules for personalization (e.g. salutation, imprint)
