Edit container content

In the Content workflow step, can you edit container content as you would during mailing editing.

Step by step

  1. Open your container in the "Content" workflow step.
  2. Edit text and images

Click on your texts, images and button texts so you can edit them the same way as in the mailing editor.

  3. Personalize containers

Select a list in your container settings to be able to use personalization such as recipient attributes or modules.

List will be overwritten in your mailing: The selected list is meant for your orientation and for you to prepare your container content. If you select a different list later in your mailing, the list selection from your mailing will apply. Go to your mailing's Error Center to make sure the personalization in your mailing is still working.

  4. Change panel view

Similar to the mailing editor, the settings panel will adjust dynamically depending on what you have selected:

    • Select an element so that it is highlighted in green if you want to edit element settings such as alignment or background color.

    • Click on the free area and make sure that no element is selected if you want to define container settings such as the list for personalization or the visibility of your container.

  • You have edited the content of your content container.

Target groups cannot be used: The edit icon is grayed out for content containers with target groups. You cannot edit them in the “Content” workflow step. Go to your mailing if you want to edit target group containers.
