January 2024: Modules and link features
24.01.2024
In Inxmail New Xperience, we have put together a New Year's package of new link features for you: In addition to new link types (anchor, mailto), the link test is now available. In addition, you can now finally edit modules directly in Inxmail New Xperience.
Modules in the platform at last: Edit and manage your building blocks in Inxmail New Xperience. Use recipient attributes, commands from Inxmail Professional and other modules to create your own modules in text, HTML or multipart format.

We have introduced the anchor link and mailto link as new link types. You may also have not yet discovered the subscription confirmation link and the unsubscribe link with unsubscription form.
The following link types are now available to you:
Subject |
Type |
Brief description |
---|---|---|
General | Link |
Standard link (no special functions) |
Subscription and unsubscription |
Subscription confirmation link |
By clicking this link, your recipients will confirm their email address via double opt-in (DOI). |
Unsubscribe link |
By clicking this link, your recipients will unsubscribe from your newsletter. | |
Unsubscribe link with unsubscription form |
After clicking this link, your recipients will be directed to a landing page with an unsubscription form. The unsubscription will not be executed when the link is clicked, but only after your recipient has completed and sent the unsubscription form. |
|
Tracking Permission | Grant | By clicking this link, your recipients will grant or withdraw their tracking permission. |
Withdraw | ||
Other link types | Anchor link |
Use the anchor link to link to a specific container in your mailing with a jump mark. This way you can create a table of contents, for example. All anchors that you have previously defined in the container settings are available to you. |
Link to browser view |
Use the link to browser view to view your mailing in your browser. Colleagues without access to Inxmail New Xperience can also use the browser view link to review your mailing and provide feedback. |
|
Mailto link | The mailto link opens an email to a predefined email address - with a predefined subject and email body if required. |

Successful links are highlighted in green.
