Create and edit custom roles

Step by step

  1. Open the Roles navigation item.
  2. Click New role or click on the edit icon for the role you want to edit.

    You cannot edit standard roles: All roles with the Inxmail logo are Inxmail standard roles. You cannot edit or delete them.

  3. Enter a role name and description, e.g:

    • Name: Media manager
    • Description: You have full rights in the "Media" navigation items.
  4. Select the rights packages that you wish to assign to your role, for example:

    • Upload media
    • Manage media

    Scroll down to view all available rights packages.

  5. Click Save.
  • You have created a new role.
