Store list-unsubscribe header or list-help header (Inxmail Commerce)
In Inxmail Commerce, it is mandatory that you store a List-Unsubscribe header as an unsubscribe option. In the case of purely transactional mails, you must store either a List-Unsubscribe header or a List-Help header.
Step by step
-
Open the List-Help-Header navigation item in the space settings.
-
Enter a list-help header.
-
Click
.
- You have stored a list-help header at space level.
The list-help header at space level is pulled for all mailings for which no deviating list-help header is defined at mailing level.
You cannot store a list-unsubscribe header at the space level because the list-unsubscribe header must make it clear which mailing is be unsubscribed from.
Step by step
-
Open the Mailing settings.
-
Under Unsubscribe information > Mailing type, specify whether your mailing is a transaction-only mailing or a mailing with promotional content.
-
Mailing with promotional content: Add a list-unsubscribe header.
Users must unsubscribe using one-click unsubscribe.
-
Pure transaction email: Add a list-help header.
You also have the option of storing a list-unsubscribe header for transaction emails instead of the list-help header. If you specify both headers, then the list-unsubscribe header will be used and the list-help header will be ignored.
-
-
Click Save.
- You have stored a list-help header at mailing level.
The mailing settings have priority: If you have stored a list-help header in the Space settings and in the Mailing settings, the value at mailing level applies. You cannot enter a list-unsubscribe header at Space level because the list-unsubscribe header must be mailing-specific.
Activate error notifications. This way, you will be notified immediately in case of problems with event configuration or dispatch.
