Overview of the different container statuses

Container will appear differently based on whether they are a draft or an approved container.

  • You must approve your container before you can insert it into your mailing.

  • After approval, you can edit your container again: Click on "Create draft" in the container overview. This creates a container draft based on the approved container, where you can make your changes. The approved version remains untouched and will not be overwritten until you approve the container draft for the second time.

  • For a container that you have approved and then modified, you can delete the draft and the approved version independently.

  • Only for referenced content containers: Containers with the status “Used” can only be archived, not deleted. Archived containers are no longer displayed in the container overview. Referenced containers can only be deleted with the status "Draft" or "Approved", or after the reference has been removed.
