Delete a container
Step by step

Open the
Containers navigation item. -
You may need to switch to a different tab based on which type of container you want to delete. In some cases, this will not be necessary.

Delete layout containers in the "Layout containers" tab.

Delete content containers in the "Content containers" tab.

Referenced content containers that are in use cannot be deleted. First unlink the referenced container in the respective mailing. Another option is to archive referenced content containers that are still in use. Archived content containers are no longer displayed in the container overview and can no longer be added to mailings. You can restore archived containers or delete them after unlink the referenced container.

You cannot delete Inxmail containers.
Note: Inxmail containers are provided by Inxmail. There is no way for you to edit or delete Inxmail containers. That's why there is no tab for Inxmail containers in the container overview.

Click the
Delete symbol for the container you wish to delete: -
A dialog box appears.

Click .
- You have deleted a container.
Deleted means deleted: Containers are permanently deleted. You cannot restore it.
Can’t see your current navigation item?
