Delete a container

Step by step

1. Open the Containers navigation item.

2. You may need to switch to a different tab based on which type of container you want to delete. In some cases, this will not be necessary.

   

   • You delete custom containers on the "Custom containers" tab.

   • You delete content containers on the "Content containers" tab.

   • You cannot delete Inxmail containers.

   Note: Inxmail containers are provided by Inxmail. There is no way for you to edit or delete Inxmail containers. That's why there is no tab for Inxmail containers in the container overview.

3. Click the Delete symbol for the container you wish to delete:

   

4. A dialog box appears.

   

5. Click Delete.

• You have deleted a container.

Deletions are permanent: Once a container has been deleted, it is gone forever. You cannot restore it.
