Edit containers subsequently
Subsequent changes to layout containers and content containers are not applied to your mailing: If you have already inserted your container into your mailing and later edit and approve it, this has no effect on the container instance in your mailing. If you want subsequent changes to your container to be applied to your mailing, you must insert the container into your mailing again.
The only exception is referenced content containers. If you modify a referenced content container in the container editor, the changes affect the mailings that use this container type. An overview shows which areas or mailings are affected.
Note: If a mailing has already been scheduled for delivery (except via workflows) or has been shared with Inxmail Professional, changes to the linked content container will not automatically be applied to that mailing. In this case, the mailing must be rescheduled or shared/released again in Inxmail Professional. This does not apply to active subscription mailings, transactional mailings, or mailings sent via workflows. These mailings are always kept up to date.
Aside from this, edit existing containers as usual and approve them again.
