Authenticate your domain in Inxmail first: Always create your domain first as a sending domain in Inxmail, before you add the related DNS records with your domain host.

Sending domains let you send your emails through Inxmail servers while still authenticating and signing your emails with your own domain.

Ongoing maintenance
No domain delegation to Inxmail: If you cleared the "Delegate domain to Inxmail (recommended)" checkbox, you are responsible for the ongoing maintenance of your DNS records, for example for continuously updating your DMARC policy. This also applies to the "Main domain or subdomain via alias" option.
Domain delegation to Inxmail: If you kept the "Delegate domain to Inxmail (recommended)" checkbox selected, you do not need to do anything after the initial setup.

Note: As soon as we have checked the DNS records, you can send emails through your authenticated sending domains. During the first 72 hours, isolated delivery issues can occur.
