Add DNS records to your domain host

Add the DNS records from the "Sending domains" navigation item to your domain host.

Step by step

1. Initial setup

   Open your domain in the overview table by clicking the "Preview" icon.

2. Copy all DNS records to your clipboard.

   Find out more: Further information and background on DNS records can be found under "DNS records" in the FAQs Sending domains.

3. Add all DNS records to your domain host. Ask your IT department for assistance if needed.

4. Maintenance

   No domain delegation to Inxmail: If you have unchecked the "Delegate domain to Inxmail (recommended)" checkbox, you are responsible for the ongoing maintenance of your DNS records – for example, regularly updating your DKIM keys.

   Domain delegation to Inxmail: If you have left the "Delegate domain to Inxmail (recommended)" box checked, you don’t need to take any further action after the initial setup.

• You have added the DNS records to your domain host.

Note: Validation of the DNS records may take up to 72 hours. During this time, you should not send any emails via your subdomain.
