You can switch between three tabs in the 
"Mailings" navigation item:

Editing
This is the main tab you will work in. Here is where you create your mailing and fill it with content.

Preview
In the "Preview" tab, you can check whether your mailing actually looks the way you imagined during the editing process. You can also send yourself a test mail to see how your mailing will appear in real life inside your inbox.

Test
On this tab you have the possibility to test your mailing for different email clients and for spam criteria. This allows you to quickly spot display problems and see how your mailing will actually appear to your recipients.
