Optimal deliverability – step by step

Objective: You authenticate a subdomain in order to optimise your deliverability. You will use the authenticated subdomain for sending your emails in Inxmail Commerce.

Use your domain for Inxmail only: Create a subdomain that you use exclusively for sending emails via Inxmail . If your main domain is example.com, you can create a subdomain such as newsletter.example.com.

Step by step

  1. Enter a name for your subdomain. Consult with your IT department in the process.

  2. You have set up your subdomain with your domain host. Use the assistance of your IT department.

  3. Consult with your IT department before choosing a scenario. You will only achieve optimal deliverability in any of the scenarios by working with one subdomain.

  4. Set up the Sending domains feature according to the Step-by-step instructionsfor your scenario.

  5. Store your DNS entries with your domain host. Use the assistance of your IT department.

Authenticate your domain in Inxmail first: Always add your domain as a sending domain in Inxmail before setting up the corresponding DNS records with your domain host. Use one of our implementation scenarios to do so. Otherwise, there's a risk that unauthorized parties could authenticate the domain on their own platforms or instances. Be sure to follow this sequence - it is crucial for the security of your domain.

  6. Store your subdomain in your mailing settings so that the settings from the Sending domains feature will be applied.
