Adjusted data fields of the Inxmail Professional email campaign

Inxmail Professional email campaigns have a number of adjusted data fields in addition to many default fields of a Salesforce campaign:

Adjusted data fields Description

Sender address

The sender address is necessary to send a mailing. It is entered in Inxmail Professional as the sender address of the mailing list.

Connect with Inxmail Professional

You must connect Salesforce with Inxmail Professional in order to transfer the campaign data to Inxmail Professional. A connection with Inxmail Professional is established as soon as the Connect with Inxmail Professional check box is enabled.

Connection status

Different statuses indicate the current state of the data transfer:

  • disconnected: The Salesforce campaign is not connected with Inxmail Professional.

Open rate

The open rate shows you how often your mailing is opened. The opening recipients are divided by the number of net recipients.

Status

The Status field is a standard campaign field in Salesforce. It shows the current status of the campaign. By default, the Planned status is preset. You can change the status to In Progress during a campaign. However, the Completed and Aborted statuses delete the corresponding mailing list in Inxmail Professional. These may only be chosen if the connection to Inxmail Professional is interrupted, in other words, if the Connect with Inxmail Professional check box was disabled.

Including tracking permission

Specify here whether, in this campaign, personal data obtained through tracking is to be transferred back to Salesforce. The setting relates to all recipients for the campaign.

If you activate this setting, the behaviour of your recipients is tracked in an anonymised manner. You can then determine in Salesforce how many different recipients opened the mailing and how many different recipients clicked a particular link. But you cannot establish the identity of a particular recipient.

If you activate this setting, the behaviour of your recipients is tracked in person-based manner. You can then conduct corresponding analyses in Salesforce and determine which recipients opened the mailing and clicked which links.

Note: The Include tracking permission data field in Salesforce controls the advanced property Include consent for person-based tracking in the Inxmail Professional mailing lists. Detailed information can be found in the Inxmail Professional online help in the section Mailing lists > Advanced properties.
