Inserting the target group ‘Clicked a link’
You can use the Clicked a link? control element to configure a workflow in such a way that recipients who have clicked on any link in a mailing pass through another branch of the workflow from those recipients who have not done this.
Using the Clicked a link? control element you can, among other things, determine with certainty, whether an email has been opened. This enables you to make further passage through a particular workflow branch dependent on opening a particular email.
(Using the Mailing opened? control element (see above) the opening of an email cannot be determined with certainty if the recipient has suppressed images in their email program.)
Prerequisites
Link tracking So that Inxmail Commerce can determine clicks on a link, tracking must be active for the links in the mailing.
Detailed information can be found in the section Inserting links.
Person-based tracking To be able to use the Clicked a link? control element, or the Clicked specific link? control element either person-based tracking must be activated for your workspace or permission-based tracking must be activated for the particular event. (If necessary, please contact your account administrator to activate person-based or permission-based tracking.)
Detailed information can be found in the section Setting up anonymised or person-based tracking.
