Note: Keep an eye on the size of the mailing when adding attachments to your mailing. A mailing, including attachments, must not exceed 6 MB in size. Mailings greater than 6 MB in size cannot be sent.
Providing attachments in the source system
Attachments that are to be sent with mailings must be present in the source system.
Transferring attachments via API to Inxmail Commerce
For an attachment to be sent with a mailing, it must be transferred together with the event data via API to Inxmail Commerce. In doing so, the attachment is transferred as a base64 encoded string.

Selecting a mailing with an attachment in the workflow
When creating and editing a mailing in Inxmail Commerce, it does not matter whether the mailing will be sent with or without an attachment The crucial factor for sending a mailing with an attachment is that you select the Mailing with attachment element type when adding an item to the workflow (
). If attachments for the mailing are present in the source system for the corresponding event and are transferred via API, they are sent with the mailing.
