Interplay between tracking permission and unique count tracking
When the advanced property Include consent for person-based tracking is assigned the value Include (global settings will be ignored) for a mailing list, then Inxmail Professional generally reviews in connection with unique count tracking whether recipients have given consent to person-based tracking.
If consent has been given, the data acquired through unique count tracking is stored in a person-based manner. If consent has not been given, the data is stored in anonymised form.
Example: Link tracking
If a recipient who has given consent to person-based tracking has clicked a unique count link, this click is stored in person-based form.
If a recipient who has not given consent to person-based tracking clicks a unique count link, this click is stored in anonymised form.
Inxmail Professional reviews at the time in which the click is made whether the respective recipient has given tracking permission.

2 possible use cases
Depending on your contract, you might use Inxmail Professional in different ways:
-
As part of the Inxmail platform: You use newsletters & campaigns as your main tool for creating and sending newsletters. Inxmail Professional only serves as a recipient database and configuration tool in the background.
We are constantly expanding the functionality of “Newsletters & Campaigns”. Check out newsletters & campaigns section to find out if the feature you are looking for might already be available there.
-
Full scope: You use the legacy tool Inxmail Professional as your main tool for creating and sending newsletters.
