Step 3: Advanced settings

In Step 3: Advanced settings, you control the management of unsubscriptions of your email campaign recipients, as well as the selection of the columns linked with Salesforce in the integrated Web client.

Sync updated data from Salesforce to Inxmail

Tick this check box if you want updated contact and lead data to be regularly synced from Salesforce to Inxmail. You select the fields to be synchronized to Inxmail using the "Track field history" feature in your contacts and leads. Please see the article Track Field History for Standard Objects in the Salesforce online help for additional information.

Is the function not shown in the program? Contact your Inxmail representative or if you want to activate this function.

Global email opt-out

Enable the Global email opt-out check box if the member should receive no further emails after unsubscribing from an email campaign. The No emails check box in the member’s contact details (Contacts tab) will be enabled if the member unsubscribes. The member can then be added to an email campaign again, but will no longer be transferred to Inxmail Professional on account of the Opt-out status.

Disable the Global email opt-out check box if you want to continue transferring contacts or leads who have unsubscribed from an email campaign to Inxmail Professional. This setting means that the No emails check box in a member’s contact details will remain disabled. Only the member status in the email campaign will be set to Opt-out and consequently no further mailings will be sent to the member for this campaign. The member will continue to be transferred to Inxmail Professional and will still receive mailings in other email campaigns.

Limited personalization

Enable the Limited personalization check box if only the columns for personalisation that you created in Step 2: Field mappings should be selectable in the integrated Web client (in the Editing workflow step > Personalisation selection list).

If, on the other hand, the Limited personalization check box remains disabled, all existing columns of the recipient table from Inxmail Professional will be displayed in the Personalisation selection list.
