Marking and status of mailings

The following contains an overview of the different icons used to indicate the mailing type and the status of mailings.

Mailing type

The different mailing types are marked by different icons.

Standard mailings are symbolized by an envelope. For mailings that have not yet been sent, the envelope is open. For sent mailings, the envelope is closed. All other mailing types are not symbolized by an envelope. Instead, the icons represent the function of the respective mailing type.

Trigger mailings are represented by a calendar icon.

Action mailings are indicated by an arrow pointing to the right. This symbolises the automated dispatch of this type of mailing triggered by events.

Split test mailings are marked by a split rectangle.

Subscribe mailings and unsubscribe mailings are indicated by a plus or minus symbol. These are all mailings that are created in the Subscriptions agent.

Send status

The dispatch status is represented by different colours and by a horizontal or tilted display of the different mailing types.

For standard mailings, the envelope is also closed. The different dispatch statuses are displayed in different colours.

The dispatch statuses are essentially the following three states that a mailing can assume:

Dispatch has not yet taken place In this state, the mailing is still being processed. This can be editorial editing or checking or releasing a mailing. In any case, the mailing has not yet been sent or activated. Mailings in this state are displayed in blue.

Dispatch is in progress In this state the mailing is currently being sent or the dispatch has been activated. Standard mailings and split test mailings are usually only in this state for a short time, since the dispatch usually takes only a short time. Other mailing types are sent again and again depending on events (birthday, subscribing to the newsletter), so that these mailing types are usually always in the state "dispatch is in progress" after their activation. Mailings in this state are displayed in green.

Dispatch has taken place In this state the dispatch of the mailing is completed. Mailings in this state are displayed in grey.

Additional icons

Additional icons are displayed to the right of the mailing icons in certain scenarios. These give you additional information in addition to the mailing type.
