Creating HTML subscription and unsubscription forms (without reCAPTCHA)
Note: We recommend that you integrate Friendly Captcha or Google reCAPTCHA into your HTML forms. This way, you can protect yourself against so-called list bombing attacks. In a list bombing attack, subscriptions to your newsletter are made by computer programs or bots. In this process, a very large number of fictitious or actually existing email addresses is transferred to your subscription form and the subscription process is triggered (DOI) or even carried out (SOI). The owners of the email addresses know nothing about this.
You can create HTML forms without Friendly Captcha or Google reCAPTCHA only if you purchased Inxmail Professional before September 2019. If you purchased Inxmail Professional in September 2019 or later, only Subscription Servlet version 3 or 2 is available. Your HTML subscription/ unsubscription forms will then include Captcha functionality.
