Gender-neutral language

Language has real social implications because language creates images in our minds and these images can distort reality. Language has the power to include or exclude particular groups, to under-emphasize or over-emphasize certain aspects. It is usually not intentionally, but subconsciously, that we reproduce social structures with our language and thus help to strengthen them.

At Inxmail, we want to use the positive potential of language. This is why we have adapted all texts on the user interface and in the online help of Inxmail New Xperience, so that only gender-neutral terms are used.

This change primarily affects the German language version of the "Users and rights" section. You will notice some neutral wording here, including the Inxmail standard roles.
