Meaning of the different validation statuses in the "Sending domains" feature

The following validation statuses can occur in the Sending domains feature:

Meaning

  • All information on deliverability has been stored correctly.

  • A BIMI logo has been stored in Inxmail Commerce or outside of Inxmail Commerce.

  • A signed sending of your emails is possible.

  • All information on deliverability has been stored correctly.

  • A signed sending of your emails is possible.

  • No BIMI logo has been stored.

Optional: If you wish, you can store a BIMI logo.

  • The information on DKIM and SPF has been stored correctly.

  • DMARC has not been set up

Recommendation: Set up DMARC to improve your deliverability. This way, you can protect your domain and improve your reputation as a sender.

  • You have so far only stored the DNS entries for DKIM with your ISP.

    This message appears, for instance, for customers with sending domains that have already been stored.

Recommendation:

  • Click ‘Upgrade’ and follow the further instructions.
  • To improve your deliverability, also store the DNS entries for MX, SPF and DMARC, see Scenario 2.

  • You have not stored any DNS entries with your ISP.

Important: You run the risk that your emails will not reach the recipient because they are not correctly authenticated and signed.
